Markets in Consolidation – Global Capital Pauses Before the Next Move
Release Time: 10:00, October 22, 2025
Issued by: Mr. Leon
Vietnam Market:
The VN-Index moved narrowly within the 1,660–1,670 zone.
Outlook: Market liquidity remains cautious. The 1,650-point level is an important support area — if it holds, a short-term rebound may occur. A breakdown below this zone could trigger a broader correction.
U.S. Market:
After a strong rally, major U.S. indices are entering a technical consolidation phase.
Outlook: The market may pause ahead of the next move. Bond yields and the Federal Reserve’s interest rate policies remain the key drivers to watch.
USD/JPY (UJ):
Trading around 151.85 JPY/USD.
Outlook: The USD remains strong, but momentum is slowing as markets begin to factor in potential intervention from the Bank of Japan (BOJ).
GBP/USD (GU):
The pound remains under pressure amid a stronger U.S. dollar.
Outlook: The 1.34 support zone is being tested — if broken, the pair may extend losses toward 1.33. The short-term bias remains bearish.
Gold has slightly rebounded after a sharp pullback, currently around US $4,146/oz.
Outlook: Safe-haven demand remains robust. However, unless gold breaks above the $4,150–4,200 resistance area, a short-term correction could occur before resuming the uptrend.
Prices are stable around US $62/barrel, supported by expectations of recovering demand and controlled supply.
Outlook: Oil could see mild upside as long as supply remains stable, but volatility risks persist if OPEC+ production or global demand changes.
BTC trades near US $108,000, showing signs of a slowing recovery.
Outlook: The medium-term uptrend remains possible if BTC can break decisively above the $115,000 resistance level. Until then, traders should watch for strong confirmation signals before entering new positions.
