MARKET OVERVIEW

The breakout above 1,665 has not been confirmed, but the 1,630 level is acting as a key support zone, which may help the market recover and retest the 1,665 level in upcoming sessions.

• US Market: In the last trading session of the week, US markets surged after Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s influential remarks at the Jackson Hole Symposium, signaling a potential rate cut in September. The Dow Jones soared 846 points to a record close at 45,631.74, the S&P 500 rose 1.5% to 6,466.91, and the Nasdaq jumped 1.9% to 21,496.53. Broad-based buying momentum was evident as bonds rallied, borrowing costs eased, and investor sentiment toward equities strengthened.

2. Forex

• EUR/USD: Uptrend, potential long positions today, daily support at 1.16500.

• USD/JPY: Downtrend, potential short positions today, daily resistance at 148.000.

3. Gold
