MARKET OVERVIEW
Stock Market:
Vietnam Market: The market recovered after two correction sessions and found support around the 1,290-point area, with increased liquidity indicating strong capital inflows despite continued net selling from foreign investors. The quick rebound has pushed the index close to the 1,316-point resistance area, which may cause short-term volatility. However, with the current momentum, the market is likely to break through this zone and move towards 1,320 – 1,340 points.
U.S. Market: U.S. stock markets started the new week in light green, although the S&P 500 dropped 23 points (-0.39%) to 5,940.46, marking a new record high. Investors remain optimistic about potential interest rate adjustments by the Fed in the coming months, especially as recent economic data show signs of easing inflationary pressures.
