MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market:

  • Vietnam Market:
The market faced resistance near 1,700 points, with a Shooting Star candlestick and profit-taking pressure, especially from foreign investors. Despite the correction pressure, VN-Index held above 1,665 points. It is expected that the market will be supported around this level and may recover, testing the 1,680–1,700 range.

  • U.S. Market:
Trading sessions posted only modest gains but were still positive, with the S&P 500 reaching a new all-time high, closing up 0.2% at 6,481.40. The Dow Jones also gained 0.3% to 45,565.23, while the Nasdaq edged up 0.2% to 21,590.14. The Russell 2000 small-cap index advanced the most, adding 0.6% to 2,373.80.

JM Bullion recorded gold trading at $3,394/oz today, close to a two-week high as political uncertainties at the Fed supported safe-haven demand.

The daily increase was modest at +1.61 USD (+0.05%), but the long-term trend remains positive (+1.82% in 30 days, +34.05% in 1 year).

Summary: Gold is currently trading in the $3,394–3,402/oz range, showing mild fluctuations and reflecting geopolitical impacts.

The price recovered to $111,300 after dropping below $109,000 due to market pressure and U.S. political concerns.
