MARKET OVERVIEW

1. Stock Market:

• Vietnam Market:
  The market rebounded strongly over the past 3 sessions, supported at the 20-day MA zone. Decreasing liquidity suggests profit-taking pressure is easing, giving capital a chance to re-enter. Current signals show potential for continued gains and a retest of the 2022 peak at 1,536 points. However, this zone also serves as strong resistance following the drop on July 29, which may lead to market contention and influence future direction.

• US Market:
  Wall Street rallied strongly on August 4 after a tough week:
  S&P 500 rose +1.5% to 6,329.94 points,
  Nasdaq Composite gained +2.0% to 21,053.58 points,
  Dow Jones jumped +1.3% (585 points) to 44,173.64.
  Weak July jobs data raised the probability of a Fed rate cut in September to ~84%.

2. Forex:

• EUR/USD is in a downtrend, short positions are favored today. Daily resistance: 1.16000

• USD/JPY is trending upward, long positions are favored today. Daily support: 146.600

3. Gold:
   Spot gold dropped about −0.3%, currently hovering around 3,354.17 USD/oz as investors took profits after last week’s strong rally, although rate cut expectations remain high (~81%).

4. Oil:

BTC futures are trading at approximately 115,785 USD—up ~1.95%.
