Release Time: 10:00 AM, July 30, 2025 Author: Mr. Leon
1. Stock Market:
Vietnam Market: The market saw a sharp and unexpected decline after surpassing the 1,536-point peak. This signals significant profit-taking pressure and a potential end to the recent rally. The 1,536 level has now become a resistance point, while the MA(20) around 1,465 points will serve as a near-term support, where the market may retest demand.
US Market: The market adjusted slightly after a consecutive winning streak. The S&P 500 fell 0.3% to 6,370.86, the Nasdaq dropped 0.4% to 21,098.29, and the Dow Jones lost 0.5%, or about 205 points. The pressure came from a series of disappointing earnings reports: UnitedHealth fell sharply by 7.5%, Novo Nordisk plunged 22%, and UPS was a letdown. Investors remain cautious ahead of the Fed's interest rate decision and the development of US-China trade negotiations.
